Ylang Ylang (Cananga Odorata)

Ylang Ylang has a balsamic, floral, oriental, heady, sensual, rich, soft and sweet fragrance. Ylang Ylang is powerful, yet soothing and helps overcome fear and encourages a relaxed attitude. The oil is distilled from the flowers of the plant.

This oil blends very well with bergamot, jasmine, rose, sandalwood, vetiver, jasmine and neroli.

Stress relief bath:
5-10 drops Ylang Ylang
Add the oil to the water after you have run your bath water. Swish it around very well and then hop in. This bath soothes and renews energy while relieving the stresses of the day.
Post Partum Depression Blend
4 drops Lavender
2 drops Ylang Ylang
2 drops Clary Sage
1 drop Bergamot
1 drop Mandarin (or Lemon or Orange)
Mix these in an amber glass bottle. Use in the bath, diffuser or dilute with carrier oil for a massage.
