Melaleuca aka Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia)
Melaleuca has a strong,
sharp, medicinal, camphorlike, balsamic and
pungent scent. It's refreshing and revitalising,
especially after shock. The oil is steam
distilled from the leaves of the tree. It has
been widely documented for it's medical and
antiseptic properties.
Melaleuca is well known for
its germicidal properties and is a very powerful
natural antiseptic. This oil is very often used
neat on the skin because it is gentle, even
though it's powerful. Melaleuca can be of value
in any genital infection.

This oil blends very well with lemon,
lavender, eucalyptus and rosemary.
| For that pesky nail
fungus: Apply a light
coating of Melaleuca to affected
area 3-4 times per day. Continue
for at least 2 weeks after you
"think" it is cleared
up. This may work as well as, or
even better than, some non-prescription
medications.
Note: Your nails take a
long time to grow out, please don't
expect beautiful nails overnight
- but sticking with it will pay
off.

Immune boosting bath: Add 12 drops of
Melaleuca to a bath, after the
water is drawn. Mix it well and
enjoy. This is especially nice
even once you have started
feeling ill.

Melaleuca (Tea tree) is generally
listed as safe during pregnancy.
For
blisters on your feet:
Gently, but thoroughly and carefully, pat on one
drop of this blend:
- 1 drop
TeaTree/Melaleuca
- 1 drop
Roman Chamomile and
- 1 drop
Lavender
Immune
system stimulant:
- 7
drops Melaleuca (Tea Tree)
- 7
drops Lavender
- 7
drops Bergamot
- 4
drops Sandalwood
- 3
Tablespoons V-6 mixing oil
- Combine
all the ingredients and use it as a
massage oil.
Mouthwash
to make your breath smell great!
- 1 drop
Peppermint
- 1 drop
Lemon
- 1 cup
water
- If you
place all the ingredients in a bottle and
cap it tightly, this will last for a
couple of weeks. Simply give the bottle a
shake and take a swig when you need to
freshen your breath. Swirl it around your
mouth well and spit it out. Then you're
ready to be kissed!
